I started out as an energy engineer — spent four years at Kinneret Academic College studying thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and systems design, graduating with a 92 GPA. Somewhere along the way I got pulled into software. I wrote my first real program to automate a tedious calculation, and that was it.

In 2021 I completed a fullstack bootcamp and moved into software professionally. Since then I’ve shipped production systems across fintech, bioinformatics, cloud infrastructure, and industrial SaaS — mostly in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python, with a growing focus on AWS architecture and DevOps.

I don’t specialize narrowly. I’ve built React frontends, Node.js backends, Python ETL pipelines, Terraform infrastructure, Kubernetes deployments, and GitHub Actions CI/CD — often on the same project. I find the full stack more interesting than any single layer of it.

What I care about in my work:

• Clarity over cleverness. Systems that are easy to reason about outlast clever ones.
• Owning the whole thing. I’m comfortable taking a feature from requirements to production, including the deployment pipeline.
• Fast feedback. I work with AI tools daily (Claude Code since early 2025, GitHub Copilot before that) and think seriously about how to get better information faster.
